I started playing DDR on 2003.12.23 when I bought US MAX2 and a Mad Catz Beat Pad. Right now my home setup includes all the US releases of DDR for PS2 and XBox, all the Japanese releases of DDR for PS2, US DDR and Konamix for PS1, In The Groove for PS2, PIU Exceed for XBox, and a Cobalt Flux doubles kit. (Pictures of my home setup) It's hard to find a reliable Extreme machine close to Toledo, and I'm just not that into SuperNOVA, so even now that I'm done with school (Masters in English Lit, woo), I still won't be playing as much at the arcade as I'd like. :/ (I currently have 22 AAs on SuperNOVA, pics in my Livejournal.) Although I do have ITG scores listed on Recall, I use Groovestats as my primary ITG scoretracker, and scores there are more current than those listed here. Please send all ITG-related challenges and messages to my Groovestats account instead of here. As far as my playing philosophy goes, I use dance games mainly as a fitness tool and as a way to relieve stress. I do keep track of my scores, but only for tracking my progress and personal best scores; I'm not interested in getting more AAAs/SDGs/whatever than any other player. Prefacing this by saying that I'm not a mod/bar snob -- use what you want, I don't care -- all of my scores submitted here were done without the bar, and without mods except for Extra Stages where noted. Yes, that includes Bag. Favourite songs: 5.1.1., Fly Through the Night, Rainbow Flyer, Kakumei, L'amour et la libert�, Look to the Sky, EyeSpy, Hunting for You, 250bpm Remix, Gorgeous 2012 Least favourite songs: End of the Century, Secret Rendez-vous, Smoke, Dub-I-Dub, Hysteria, Freckles, all of Naoki's speedy love songs (Can't Stop Fallin in Love, Still in my Heart, Broken my Heart, etc.), all the ska, all the K-pop, everything by Thuggie D., everything by Slake
Please send me (DDR) challenges! If you send me a good challenge, I'll send you one back unless you're out of room or say you don't want a return challenge. Good stuff for challenges: Songs I haven't submitted scores for yet, Nonstops, short-term stuff (one or two songs), Standard mode. Bad stuff for challenges: Oni courses (I never play them), forced use of mods, time-specific challenges (either "do this before this date" or "do this before I do this"), songs on my Least Favourite list. |
